Absences
All absences and late arrivals to school require notification by each student's parents or carers. This facilitates the completion of the Register of Attendance in compliance with the ACT Education Directorate policies. Absences can be notified by telephoning the front office on 6142 1600 or via email at info@macgregorps.act.edu.au.
After School & Before School Care (OSHC)
After School and Before School Care is administered by a sub-committee of the P&C Association. The Centre is open for students from preschool to year 6, from 7:30am to 9:00am and 3:00pm to 6:00pm, each day. Vacation Care is also provided during school holidays as advised prior to each school holiday period. Contact with the service's director can be made using the contact number 0410 620 559. OSHC office hours are 2:30pm to 6:00pm.
Assemblies
School Assemblies are held each Friday alternating between whole school, Junior and Senior. The preschool children sometimes attend assemblies. Assembly dates and additional information are included in our school calendar and fortnightly newsletter. Assemblies feature singing, sharing of learning tasks, team challenges, general announcements and acknowledgement of student learning or citizenship. Parents and community members are always welcome to attend.
